UNLOCK YOUR DRUMMING POTENTIAL

Session work available

so you’RE A DRUMMER

You took the initiative, picked up the sticks, learned some rudiments and beats, maybe you even play in a band at your local dive bar every few weekends. And you feel like something’s missing.

Ask yourself the following:

Have you ever gone to record yourself, and suddenly everything falls apart?

Are you struggling to progress the same way you did when you started?

Are your rudiments and patterns actually coming out in your playing, or do you freeze up and stick to the same old safety licks?

Are you struggling to learn more difficult material, and subsequently burning more and more time behind the kit?

Do you see a video of yourself playing and think “what’s going on?”

Are you unsure of what to work on to reach the next level?

If you answered “Yes” to any of these questions, then your answer lies within your practice routine. As we progress, we don’t tend to realize that progress in itself is volatile. As you reach a higher level of competence, it becomes harder to improve. I propose a new method of learning, which is to develop an individualized system to leverage behind the kit-whether you’re playing a live performance or tracking in the studio. This system is built through the reverse engineering of your unique goals, which are then analyzed and broken down into actionable steps.

Ready to take it to the next level?

  • "My son has been taking lessons with David for the past few months. I found Mr. Peredun to be an excellent instructor. He takes his teaching very seriously. He recognizes the strengths of his students and praises them for it, while also encouraging them to work on areas that need improvement. He is proactive about consulting with the student’s parents to keep them informed of the progress of the student. I highly recommend him as a percussion teacher."
